This Week in Chicago (May 20-26)

This week, there’s a slight lull in the deluge of live music that Chicago has recently been hosting, marking the transition to the summer festival season as radius clauses begin to take effect. In spite of this, there are still some great artists headed through town this week, including Laura Marling at the Athenaeum Theatre on Thursday and Anamanaguchi at Lincoln Hall on Saturday. On the local scene, Netherfriends make a return to the Empty Bottle on Monday and local electronic pop act Architecture headline the Burlington on Thursday.
