Kanye West performed a song from his upcoming album last night at the punk themed Met Ball in New York City. Guests captured videos of West premiering a track titled “I Am A God” at the high fashion event.
The new album has been confirmed as finished and although it has been rumored to drop on June 18th, an official date has yet to be announced. The Vine below shows a small clip of last night’s performance, with Kanye decked out in Givenchy for the occasion, barely audibly yelling, “I am a God!” into the microphone.
There has been talk that Daft Punk are among the many collaborators on the new LP, along with Skrillex and John Legend.
