Janelle Monae premiered the latest from her repertoire on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday, an awesomely fun and sexy video for her newest single “Q.U.E.E.N.”

Featuring the incomparable Erykah Badu, the funk-driven track is a preview of Monae’s upcoming sophomore album, The Electric Lady, set for release this fall. Monae recently relayed to Billboard that the new song was actually inspired by private conversations her and Badu, someone she looks up to as a big sister, have had.
