Mike Patton, of Faith No More, Tomahawk and Mr. Bungle fame, gained immense notoriety with his 2010 solo album Mondo Cane.
Using a forty-member orchestra and fifteen-piece backing band, Patton was able to reconstruct his feelings on the retro Italian pop music he was hearing while residing in Bologna, Italy. Recently Patton brought the album back to life with a performance in Santiago, Chile – experience the epic piece in the video below.
