A musical festival with an environmentally conscious message isn’t out of the ordinary, but Chicago’s annual Green Music Festival takes the concept to its logical conclusion by inviting green vendors and businesses to showcase their wares. Once again, the festival will take place on Damen Ave. between North and Schiller (well within reach of some tasty Big Star tacos) and will transpire over the course of a weekend at the end of June. The lineup is sparse thus far, but expect some notable local and regional acts to join the event as the date draws near:
