On May 8th, Ashes Divide will play their first show in approximately three years at the Satellite, as part of the Wednesday Society Friends Coming Together to Benefit MusiCares event.
Ashes Divide is the project spearheaded by A Perfect Circle songwriter/guitarist Billy Howerdel. The band hasn’t performed on stage in a few years, as Howerdel has been working on a new studio album.
Also performing at the benefit will be Carina Round, Battle Tapes, and Lightsystem.
In addition to the music, the evening will also serve as a showcase for Pathology Brand, a new clothing company with an inspiring message. As the company defines itself:
Pathology Brand is a progressive lifestyle clothing line using imagery and lyrical content to provoke thought and discussion. Using the medium of better quality apparel, Pathology Brand is seeking to establish a strong foundation of brand advocates who are willing to act where action is necessary. Draven has a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology and her experiences working within the Juvenile Court system, have inspired the creation of this line and given her the opportunity to establish the brand’s mission: “To remove the stigma attached to mental illness, while promoting mental health and wellness”.
Tickets for the event are on sale now for $15 (and will soon increase in price to $20) via Ticketfly – and remember, proceeds benefit MusiCares.
