Los Angeles own, born and bred rock band, The Warlocks, have recently announced the tour dates for their upcoming road trip this spring.
The band is hitting the pavement to celebrate the imminence of their album release, titled Skull Worship, which will be available in stores this fall. The album is two years in the making.
Singer Bobby Hecksher had this to say about the forthcoming project:
We went for a heavier psychedelic feel a la Blue Cheer and maybe Red Crayola. A few songs go into acoustic territory as well maybe something like T Rex and early acoustic David Bowie. Other songs yet turn to Hawkwind, Neu! and experimental rock for inspiration. Pretty much inspired by simple changes with complex guitar fingering.
The band started their journey a few days ago by playing a show in Milwaukee this past Friday and the tour will anchor again in Minneapolis today. If you are interested in catching The Warlocks live, check out the tour dates below to grab a location near you.
