Savages, a female post-punk fourtet out of London, will be releasing their debut album Silence Yourself May 7, and have already leaked the track “She Will” to unsuspecting web listeners. The resilient mood and theme of the first single resonates strongly in “Shut Up,” particularly as frontwoman Jehnny Beth opens it by reciting the powerful words printed on the front of their new album cover.
