Over the past few years, the legendary Manchester bred band New Order have been popping up around the United States. Between short tours and headlining festival slots, the forefathers of new wave have found a new spark within themselves. Earlier this year they released Lost Sirens, an album made up of songs that were recorded during the time of their 2005 record Waiting for the Siren’s Call.
New Order recently played at the first weekend of Coachella and are heading back to the desert for round two this weekend. Following their appearances in Indio, they then return to play Austin City Limits in Texas and Lollapalooza in Chicago in July and August. Earlier this week, New Order announced a short tour between the two festival dates. On July 26th they make their return to The Mann Center. Touring along with them are Brooklyn’s own 21st century new wavers Holy Ghost! Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday at 10 AM.
