Bring out the Yuengling and assorted confetti because its that time of year again. The 80/35 Music Festival, centered in Des Moines, Iowa, is back, and this year’s festivities will be something to riot about.
Returning only for the sixth time in its short history, with every appearance 80/35 takes fans on an emotional, musical high, leaving only chem-trails filled with memories and good times. In previous years, 80/35 has featured a wide variety of artist ranging from acts like The Roots and Tilly and the Wall, to reggae/ calypso band Slightly Stoopid and the Cool Kids.
The trend will continue this year as the 80/35 committee has announced the lineup for the 2013 celebration. Some headliners include Wu-Tang Clan, Kitty (Pryde), and David Byrne. Shows are set to begin July 5-6. Take a look at the full lineup down below.
