Blood-lovin’ heavy metal gurus GWAR have announced the initial lineup for this summer’s 4th annual GWAR-B-Q, and it looks to be even more ferocious than that of the outrageous years of past.
Held Aug. 17 at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, Virg., this year’s GWAR-B-Q will join the hosts with Corrosion of Conformity, Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse and many more. Rumors are also circulating there will soon be an announcement of an unbelievably exciting addition to the lineup. Stay tuned to GWAR’s website for more details.
Currently the festival host is on the road and putting finishing touches on their 13th studio album, their first since the death of long-time guitarist Cory Smoot. Stepping in for GWAR’s newest is Cannabis Corpse guitarist, Brent Purgason, who will be assuming the role of Pustulus Maximus.
