As the summer creeps closer and closer (well this week we’re getting it full on) the lineup of free concerts at Morgan’s Pier continues to grow. Previously it was announced former Philadelphia resident Wes Eisold and Cold Cave would be playing in June. Now add the ever busy Ted Leo to the list. Ted Leo & the Pharmacists will grace the sunny, waterside stage on the very last day in July, 7/31. Despite having no definite plans to release a new album, 2013 is still a big year for the band. It marks the 10 year anniversary of their incredible 2003 release, Hearts of Oak. With two solid shows already booked for Morgan’s Pier, one can only imagine who the next great act announced will be.
