Well, here’s something you don’t see everyday. Rock legend Slash and rapper/producer Chuck D jamming hard with Anthrax as they cover some classic AC/DC, live at The House of Blues. Video proof after the break.
Those in attendance at The House of Blues in Hollywood yesterday (Mar 27) got an extra “bang” for their buck when Chuck D and Slash joined heavy-metal headliners Anthrax on stage for an awesome cover of AC/DC’s “TNT.” Slash, most famous for being the lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses in the 80’s and 90’s, was a special guest in attendance backstage. He just so happened to have his guitar with him and was invited onstage to perform the classic 70’s rock anthem with Chuck D and Anthrax. Luckily for you and the entire world wide web, everyone and their mother managed to capture the epic cover on video so we could all relive the greatness over and over again. Check it out below:
Anthrax is still keeping busy after thirty one years of hard rocking, having recently announced a new cover album (which includes the aforementioned “TNT” among other classic rock singles), and are already in the midst of their 2013 Spring Tour.
