Nicole Wray has worked with artists such as Kid Cudi and frequently contributed to Black Keys records, and is now working with collaborator Terri Walker on a new and immensely exciting project.
Highly talented African American soul duo Lady, consisting of Wray and Walker, have premiered their brand new video for the track “Get Ready” after generating a great deal of attention lately for their unique and captivating music. Their self-titled debut was released on Truth & Soul Records recently to fantastic reviews.
Their style of smooth, dramatic soul is utterly sincere with deep roots in the past; it is reminiscent of the 1960’s while also maintaining a modern edge. The video, which is shot entirely in black and white, illustrates this in a great way.
