Even with a slew of sound problems ranging from a mic without enough reverb, and broken guitar strings, Austin’s own model psych rock citizens The Black Angels played a strong show on the outside stage. The setlist included songs ‘Black Grease, and ‘Bad Vibrations,’ as well as a few tracks off upcoming album ‘Indigo Meadow,’ such as ‘Evil Things’ and ‘Twisted Light.’ It was difficult to tell if the crowd even noticed or cared about the sound issues as the front of the stage, and spanning back, was a sea of nodding heads getting lost in the sound.
