Italian metal group Lacuna Coil was last up for the day at Dirty Dog Bar. The group is semi-famous in the metal community if only for the name recognition in their female co-lead singer Cristina Scabbia. Truthfully, Scabbia sings along with and interchanges with the band’s other lead singer Andrea Ferro. The music is closer to the popular variety of nu-metal than straight death metal, but the clean vocals from Scabbia/Ferro keep it palatable enough to be accessible. The group’s fans in attendance pumped their fists in glee to “End of Time” and “Intoxicated.”
