The James Douglas Show Live at Manic Fest Destiny SXSW 2013

The James Douglas show made the best work of an early slot playing a set of high-power funk rock. This is a band made to play with either Prince or Morris Day and the Time. The group uses bouncy 80’s keyboards and Zapp and Roger-style vocoder effects to make a nasty funk confection.
