Teen Announces New Album Carolina Set for May 2013 Release

Listen to the new song “Carolina” from Indie-rock group TEEN’s upcoming EP.

We previously reported that Brooklyn indie-rock group Teen is prepping the release of their newest EP by starting Kickstarter fundraiser. The group is planning on releasing Carolina on May 28th on Carpark Records and have just debuted the title track which can be streaming below. Carolina is said to be a stepping stone for the band, lead singer Teeny Lieberson described it by saying, “It felt like the next step forward would be to take a more simplistic, live approach, play lines in unison and create a different kind of conversation between the instruments.” In addition to releasing Carolina Teen will be playing SXSW before embarking on a lengthy European tour.
