On the weekend of July 12-14 Louisville Kentucky’s scenic Waterfront Park will be the host of the annual Forecastle music festival. This year’s festival features many big names like Grammy winners The Black Keys, The Avett Brothers, The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Big Boi, Alabama Shakes, Morning Jacket’s Jim James, The String Cheese Incident, Old Crow Medicine Show and many others. Forecastle is known for its ecclectic lineup showcasing the arts community of Lousville while also remaining true to Kentucky’s legacy by highlighting the southern bourbon heritage.  Three day tickets go on sale Wednesday March 6th at noon and can be purchased through Forecastle’s website. Single day tickets will be available in April.
