South By Southwest is partnering up with Cirque du Soleil presenting #EVOKE13, which will be held at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater on March 12.
Sticking to Cirque du Soleil’s mission to “invoke the imagination, provoke the senses and evoke the emotions of people around the world,” #EVOKE13 will be featuring a SXSW 2013 exclusive act solely for the event.
As part of Cirque du Soleil, a roundtable conversation hosted by Chris Hardwick, founder of Nerdist Industries, comedian, author, podcaster and AMC’s The Talking Dead host; along with cosplayer Meg Turney and representatives of Cirque du Soleil. Musical act Divine Fits will be performing, as well as GRAMMY nominated producer, DJ Sam Spiegel (of N.A.S.A. and Maximum Hedrum).
Doors for the event open at 7 pm and the event begins at 8 pm. All Interactive, Film, Music, Gold Platinum and Music wristband holders are welcome to attend the event.
On March 13, members of Cirque du Soleil will be taking part on the Music conference panel “Masterminds Behind the Music of Cirque du Soleil at the Austin Convention Center, Room 12AB from 3:30-4:30 pm.
