Fans rejoiced worldwide at Trent Reznor’s news of Nine Inch Nails returning to the music scene, and now excitement builds as tour dates have been confirmed for their upcoming tour.
The first of these will be an appearance at the Rock ‘n’ Heim Festival in Hockenheim, Germany, held July 16-18. Following that will be a stop in Niigata, Japan for the Fuji Rocks Festival, July 26-28. Reznor has also stated NIN will be doing a large arena tour in the US this fall, with plenty more dates to come in 2014.
Joining Reznor in the newest version of the group will be Adrian Belew of King Crimson, Eric Avery of Jane’s Addiction and Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv, as well as keyboardist Alessandro Cortini and drummer Ilan Rubin, who have previously worked with NIN.
This will be NIN’s first return to the stage after a 4-year hiatus, one that gave Reznor plenty of time to flesh out new solo work, as well as team up with wife Mariqueen Maandig on his side project, How To Destroy Angels. Judging on everything he’s said about NIN’s heavily anticipated return, however, it appears Reznor will remain busy with the band that made him famous for some time to come. Causing fans to ecstatically continue in their rejoicing.
