The last time Belle & Sebastian toured was a little over two years ago. The last time they played shows in the United States was back in 2010 when Belle & Sebastian Write About Love came out. The last time the group played Philadelphia however was about seven years ago! There are only a handful of US stops scheduled so far on their tour and luckily Philadelphia is one of them this time. They will make their way to the new Skyline Stage at the Mann Center on July 10th. The stage sits atop of the hill in the Mann Center and has a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline (see where they get the name?) as their back drop. To make the deal even sweeter the legendary Yo La Tengo will be opening the show.
