Green Day will make their SXSW debut this year following Billie Joe Armstrong’s recent rehab stint.
Consequence of South reports Pop-Punk legends Green Day have been added to the South By Southwest schedule. They will be playing the Moody Theatre on Friday March 15th. This will be their first North American concert since front man Billie Joe Armstrong’s on stage breakdown at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Festival which resulted in Armstrong attending rehab program and Green Day rescheduling many of their tour dates. However, Green Day fans attending SXSW should rejoice because two Green Day documentaries Broadway Idiot and ¡Cuatro! have screenings prior to the band’s performance at Austin’s Paramount Theater on March 15th.
