Following up on their October release of Objeto antes llamado disco, Mexico City rockers Café Tacvba will headline SXSW Music’s Auditorium Shores.
The rock en español legends will have Bajofondo and Molotov open for them in this NPR-presented show. Bajofondo, a group that fuses tango and EDM, works with multi-Grammy winning producer Gustavo Santoalalla, who has also worked extensively with Café Tacvba. Molotov, meanwhile, have a very political approach to their music, a style that has garnered them 5 Latin Grammys. The free show, which will take place Thursday, March 14th, will be Café Tacvba’s debut performance in the SXSW series.
