Alice In Chains Reveal Title For Upcoming Album The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here

Alice In Chains will be releasing their second album with featured guitarist/frontman William DuVall in May, and already it has garnered much acclaim and excitement with the leak of the hit song “Hollow” in December.

Alice In Chains has taken on new style with the addition of DuVall, who faced the difficult task of replacing late lead singer phenom Layne Staley. But the band maintains the spirit of their original lineup, pleasing those devoted fans who questioned if they could remain as powerful with new members.

“Hollow” had been placed as a viral clip on the group’s website last December, and it soon gained fame as radio untraditionally began playing it before the album had even been released. Quickly it became the No. 1 Top Gainer at Active Rock, and remained that way for six consecutive weeks.

Original guitarist Jerry Cantrell says this about the upcoming new album for the dynamic grunge frontiers:

“I don’t think you’ll be surprised by anything you hear. It’s us. But it’s also really unique. It’s got all the elements of any record we’ve put out, but it’s unlike any record we’ve put out. Basically, it’s the next chapter in the ALICE IN CHAINS book, and it’s going to be a big one.”
