Los Angeles based band, Kitten, announces Spring tour with special guest line up.
Kitten announces elektra punk band tour with a special guest appearances by The Joy Formidable and Paramore. Headed by Chloe Chaidez, Kitten is praised to have meshed the sounds of the post punk era with new sounds of pop. Chaidez is the frontwoman to have on tour with her enthusiastic punk rock antics on stage accompanied by her effortless falsetto voice. The album has esteemed much praise as Time Magazine stating Kitten is one of their “11 Albums To Look Forward To In 2013,” and compliments “Chaidez’s phenomenal vocals, which draw comparisons to both Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Florence Welch,” further noting that “the choppy beats, catchy choruses and glam stadium-filling sound show that Kitten won’t be sitting at the kid’s table much longer.” Kitten has made a huge splash in the music scene with their 2012 EP “Cut It Out” which joins the nostalgic era of the 80’s post punk indie movement with intensely impressive sounds of their own. Founded in 2012, Kitten made headlines with their independently released EP “Sunday School” which garnered the attention of Chloe Chaidez and her amazing talents. “Chaidez has a raw power and believability as a performer,” applaused by SPIN.com. “You can’t quite take your eyes off her for fear of missing something. I felt an honest chill of discovery…”
