Can Zooey Deschanel please stop being so gosh darn amazing already? You’re already our favorite girl crush Zoe, there’s no need to keep trying to impress us with those soulful blue eyes, or that adorable awkward girl humor, we’re already in love over here. Adding talented songstress to her mile long list of talents, Zooey and Matt Ward’s band She & Him feels like warm spring time sunshine. Lush melodies, and pretty soulful pop styling make even some of their bluer numbers feel kind of not so sad after all. Beautiful string arrangements, and flawless song structure are just a few of the reasons why this indie duo works so well together.
