Classic rocker John Fogerty is prepping new album Wrote A Song For Everyone which showcases his deep song collection by reworking some of his hits with a modern take of fresh musicians and bands. Out of the 14 songs, 12 are reworked classics and 2 are completely new tracks. What makes Wrote A Song For Everyone so special is the variety of singers and songwriters he has recruted to work with him. The collaboraters range from Kid Rock to Foo Fighters to Bob Seeger to Jennifer Hudson to Keith Urban. In an interview with American Songwriter he explained: “I encouraged each of these artists to come up with their own vision of my song, rather than just redoing what I’d recorded in the past. I was hoping they’d have some different twist so it would be fresh, so I’d have to work, too. I wanted it to be something new.”
