The Black Angels’ new album Indigo Meadow will be available online and at stores on April 2nd.
The album, which will be their first since 2010’s Phosphene Dream, will feature the single “Don’t Play With Guns,” an apt title when considering that the gun control discussion has reached a crescendo in recent weeks. The track, which was written shortly before the tragic shooting in Aurora, CO, explores the dangers of letting oneself be persuaded by others. See the video here:
Aside from revealing their new album’s release date, The Black Angels also announced dates for the tour supporting Indigo Meadow. They’ll hit the road beginning April 4th in Athens, GA and even perform at Austin’s Psych Fest April 26th-28th. See all tour dates below:
