Pitchfork is reporting there will probably be a new Daft Punk album this year. Last week Daft Punk confirmed they were not touring in 2013 but longtime-rumored collaborator Nile Rodgers claims their album will be out sometime in 2013. In an entry from Nile’s blog he posted the above photo-shopped picture of himself with Daft Punk and declared that, “The next time I set foot in Japan, my collaboration with Daft Punk would have started to hit people’s eardrums,” and he is planning on going to Japan this year.
