The Rolling Stones are rumored to perform at this year’s Coachella, although nothing has yet been confirmed at this stage. The band is heavily favored to play at the Indio, CA music festival. The band was mentioned when Coachella organizers posted an image of a large round stone at the Empire Polo Grounds on the official Facebook page and this suggested that the band will headline the festival this year. In addition, the band was listed in the lineup from Coachella’s mobile app.
In a late-December interview with RollingStone.com, frontman Mick Jagger revealed that he was not aware of the band ending up on Coachella’s mobile app. He states:
There have been quite a few offers. I’m going to see what’s on the table and discuss it with everyone. We’ll announce it when we’ve figured it out.
