It may not feel like it but it’s getting closer and closer to officially being winter and that means the temperatures will not be in the mid 50s for much longer. Good thing announcements of spring tour are already coming in to get you over those winter blues. One of these said bands is the country-punks Lucero. They average anywhere between 150 and 200 shows a year and they are kicking things off February 1st in Birmingham, Alabama. Lucero make their way to Philadelphia on March 21st when they stop at Union Transfer. Shovels & Rope are currently slated to support them on the first half of their spring tour, which includes Philadelphia. The Memphis band known for their punk sing-a-longs with southern American elements released their seventh studio album earlier this year. Women & Work was their first on Dave Matthews’ ATO Records. Assuming the Mayans are wrong and we all survive come the 21st, tickets for the show will go on sale.
