Sigur Ros’ video for “Leaning Toward Solace” marks the conclusion of a 16-part series for the band’s Valtari Mystery Film Experiment. The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi and stars Elle Fanning and John Hawkes (of Deadwood and Eastbound & Down).
The video features Fanning as a ballet dancer and Hawkes as her father. As Consequence of Sound notes, the 17-part series will be screened on all seven continents, even Antarctica. Sigur Ros also has plans to screen the series in some unconventional venues, like hair salons and hardware stores.
