It’s been almost three years since Los Feliz California’s Eels released their trio of concept albums. Hombre Lobo, End Times and Tomorrow Morning were released individually between 2009 and 2010. With a trilogy that large in that short of time, it’s not wonder Eels took a few years before releasing another album. This February their new album, Wonderful, Glorious will be out via Vagrant Records. Headed by the unmistakable Mark Oliver Everett, it will be the group’s 10th studio album.
To accompany the new records, Everett and co. will be hitting the road on a lengthy tour around the US. They kick things off on Valentine’s Day in Santa Ana and bring it to close on March 8th in Houston. As they wrap around the country, they make a stop in Philadelphia at World Cafe Live on March 2nd. Days after they wrap things up in here they then head over to Europe for an equally impressive tour that will keep them across the pond until late April.
