Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker Says Reunion May Be Short-lived

The recently reunited Pulp is not recording any new material and will probably part ways again very soon.

In 2011 the influential Brit-pop group Pulp began reunion after a fifteen year hiatus. They played some of the world’s major events such as Barcelona’s Primevera Sound Festival and 2012’s Coachella Festival. Pitchfork is reporting that the longevity of the band’s reunion may not be as long as some fans may hope. Frontman Jarvis Cocker recently stated that the band may soon be “cruising off into the sunset.” In an interview with NME Cocker stated:

“I’ve enjoyed the fact that we haven’t been doing any new stuff, because I felt that’s kept it quite simple… We haven’t been in the studio or anything. I don’t know what will happen in the future.”
