You can now listen to the podcast centered around The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne.
We previously reported that The Flaming Lips were teaming with McSweeny to produce radio show in the same style as War of the Worlds. Consequence of Sound reports you can now stream the whole podcast online. The story revolves around a tumor growing on Wayne Coyne’s leg which comes alive and speaks to him. The voice acting roles are a plenty including The Lips’ Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd and Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste playing the tumor.
There is also new music by Okkervil River, Eleanor Friedberger and Bill Callahan. The Flaming Lips cover themselves by changing “Do You Realize?” into a song about the talking tumor.
