Minus The Bear Live at Club Nokia Los Angeles

It was all killer and no filler during Minus The Bear’s stop at Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles. In what looked like one the band’s most expensive campaign for a tour yet, Minus The Bear plastered a big billboard advertising their tour with Cursive and Girl In A Coma here in LA and constructed meet-and-greets with their fans at several shows.

Fans could be found from the floor on the first floor to the balcony seating upstairs to the VIP-only area. The Seattle-based band, together for over a decade now, played a perfect mix of old and new songs from just about all their albums. Jake Snider & co. started off the night with two tracks from their most recent release Infinity Overhead amidst the ever-changing colors of bright lights. They didn’t bother much with talking in between songs.

Clearly Minus The Bear has managed to keep all the fans they’ve made, even all the way back from 2001, and the fan-base has only continued to grow. No wonder they had to play a bigger venue this time around.
