Director Peter Strickland’s Berberian Sound Studio is set for release on Blu-ray and DVD on December 31, 2012. Celebrating the release and the beginning of a new year will be the film’s original soundtrack. The true present is that the soundtrack was composed by Broadcast. Read on for more details.
It has almost been two years since former Broadcast member Trish Keenan passed away from pneumonia complications. About ten months following, news spread about an album that had been recorded before Keenan’s passing and was currently a work-in-progress.
The Berberian Sound Studio soundtrack will be available via CD, vinyl, and original starting January 8, 2013. The full track listing is as follows (Be sure to check out the second track for a special listen):
