In an interview with London’s The Sun, soul legend Bobby Womack says he would like to record an entire album with Lana Del Rey.
Womack, a recording artist for over 4 decades, told The Sun:
“I would love to do a whole album with Lana. Maybe I will get that chance, I’m putting it out there now.”
As reported by mxdwn, Del Rey, who became the first artist in over a decade to perform on Saturday Night Live before the release of an album (“Born to Die”), previously worked with Womack on a song titled “Dayglo Reflection” for his album “The Bravest Man in the Universe,” which won Best Album at the prestigious Q Awards in London just last week.
Should the two pair up again, Del Rey will no doubt learn a great deal from the legend who was once Sam Cooke’s backup singer.
