The soundtrack for director Rick Alverson’s upcoming, provocative film, “The Comedy” has been announced for release November 13th. Brought to you by the good people of Jagjaguwar, the soundtrack will feature music chosen to exemplify “the autumn of the American Era.” Artists included are Bill Fay, Here We Go Magic, Gayngs and Gardens & Villa.
The film stars Tim Heidecker, of “Tim & Eric Awesome Show” fame, in a story about an aging hipster living in Williamsburg who is on the precipice of inheriting his father’s estate. As previously reported by MXDWN, Mr. James Murphy, who who was at the first Can show in Cologne, is among the supporting cast.
