The artwork for the vinyl version of the long awaited How To Destroy Angels EP, An Omen, has now been released. Singer Trent Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig posted the image on her Twitter page on September 24th.
The vinyl and digital versions of the EP is out on November 13th via Columbia Records. The EP is reported to include six songs, which is a follow up to their 2010 EP. This marks the debut of longtime artist and collaborator Rob Sheridan, who is now a full time member of the band. It is reported that some of the songs from An Omen will be included on their forthcoming untitled full length release, tentatively due Spring of 2013.
In support of the EP, the band is reportedly “making some videos, we are going to be performing live.”
