Fans of How To Destroy Angeles may have reason to be excited –there has recently been an online product listing that indicates that the follow-up to the band’s debut EP may finally have an official release date soon.
The Nine Inch Nails fan forum, Echoing The Sound, discovered a page on Amazon.com for a new How To Destroy Angels vinyl EP. The fans then uncovered the same EP available for pre-order on SoundStageDirect. On that page, there was other information such as tracklist and price.
For the record, this is purely speculative and hopeful (but promising) information. The band has been recording and promising a full-length record for 2012 so it’s a bit strange to see a page for an EP at this time. There is also the issue of unprofessional lack of capital letters on the cover.
When fans asked Rob Sheridan, the photographer and art director for NIN and HTDA, about it, he tweeted an unclear response:
@sheepdean Heh. You’ll just have to wait and see.
How To Destroy Angels is composed of Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig, and his Oscar-winning collaborator Atticus Ross.
