Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra have just announced that they will be putting on quite the exciting New Years Eve show in New York City. They will be covering Prince’s sixth studio album Purple Rain in its entirety for this special performance at Terminal 5.
Palmer recently tweeted:

It should be a sight to see when Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra do their take on Prince’s soundtrack to the 1984 film, seeing that Purple Rain is commonly regarded as one of the most influential albums of all time. Though the presale on VIP Balcony tickets at NYC’s Terminal 5 has already started for this special New Years Eve show, regular ticket sales start this week at Amanda Palmer’s website.
