This October, Neil Young and Crazy Horse will be releasing their new LP, Psychadelic Pill. Frank “Poncho” Sampedro, guitarist for Crazy Horse, stated that the album is “just us jamming and having lots of fun.” Read on for more details.
The release will include a “double-CD and triple-vinyl … because of the lengths of many of the songs, some of which were previewed on Crazy Horse’s live performances earlier this month,” says Young on his official website. Videos will also be released for the songs as well as as Blu-ray DVD. The date of the exact release has yet to be announced.
Over the past year, Young and Crazy Horse have been incredibly active. From the release of their folk covers disc, Americana, to launching their tour in early August, the boys have had their fair share of opportunities to jam together. Currently, the band is taking a break from their tour but later this month they will pick up again and finish out the tour in early December.
