Watch: Quicksand Performs “Omission” and “Fazer” on Jimmy Fallon

Earlier this summer Quicksand reunited to play at Revelation Records for the 25th anniversary show. This show rekindled the band’s passion for performing, prompting them to play some fan favorites on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Watch the videos below.

As mentioned previously, the members of Quicksand have taken the opportunity to “do something different from their roots.” Vocalist/guitarist Walter Schreifels is known for forming Gorilla Biscuits and starting Rival Schools. Bassist Sergio Vega is currently the replacement for Chi Cheng of the Deftones, who is in a coma from an auto collision in 2008.

Quicksand Performs “Omission” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

It had been 17 years since the band was last seen on television, and over a decade since they last performed together. The excitement for playing continued on this past weekend when Quicksand appeared in New York City, NY at the Bowery Ballroom, as well as Brooklyn, NY at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

In case you missed the chance to see them live, Quicksand is hitting up the west coast this coming weekend in Downtown Los Angeles with a slot at Fuck Yeah Fest. You wouldn’t want to miss out on their last performance, at least for now.
