Everest has just premiered the video for their new song, “Ownerless”, from their latest album, Ownerless.
Everest was signed to ATO Records and since, has been consistently gaining recognition in the music community. The video for “Ownerless” just premiered on the Onion’s AV Club. Director Adam Littke from The General Assembly adds,
The first thing that came to mind for inspiration when listening to the song was this image of endless driving highway at night and black-and-white. The song has such a distinct mood that just sounded like ominous film noir to us. Out of that we sought to communicate the idea of escaping the trappings of the comfortable modern world and heading out into the vast freedom of nature.
Check out the video for yourself!
The band is currently on tour with Alberta Cross and will be touring again in November with Neil Young, Crazy Horse, Los Lobos and Patti Smith.
