Stream Lulu Gainsbourg and Scarlett Johansson’s Cover of “Bonnie and Clyde”

Scarlett Johnasson (actress, singer and model) and Lulu Gainsborug, the son of noted French artist Serge Gainsbourg, has collaborated together to for a cover of “Bonnie and Clyde.” The track is a part of Lulu’s tribute album to his father and will be available for download off of iTunes. The album, From Gainsbroug to Lulu, is a collection of covers with guest appearnaces by Rufus Wainwright, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Iggy Pop and others. Due out on October 30th and Lulu will perform a handful of shows in New York City during the winter.

Lucien “Lulu” Gainsbourg is the half-brother of established actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg. At five years old, he started playing the piano and he attended the Music Conservatory of Paris when he was eight. In 2007, he enrolled in Berklee College and he even wrote a song for French singer and actor Marc Lavoine album, Volume 10 in 2009. He continued working with other artists and he teamed up with Beck in producing Alyssa Suede Campbell’s third album, IRM.

With From Gainsbourg to Lulu, Lulu carefully handpicked songs that he felt properly celebrated his father. He has also placed a unique touch on each individual song with the help of his guest collaborators. The Berklee graduate has successfully debuted in France to positive reviews and is now setting his sights on making an impression in the US.
