Grizzly Bear Announce New Album Shields For September 2012 Release

Brooklyn, New York based indie rock band Grizzly Bear will be releasing their fourth album titled Shields on September 18^th through Warp. The band previously debuted a new song from the record called “Sleeping Ute.”

This is the band’s follow up release to 2009’s Veckatimest, which reached number eight on the US Billboard Top 200 Charts and opening for Radiohead’s second leg of their North American tour in 2008. The video for “Two Weeks” from Veckatimest is posted below.

Grizzly Bear will be playing the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, happening at la Grande Halle de la Villette from November 1-3, 2012. Day tickets and weekend passes are now available.
