Amy Winehouse’s father has confirmed a second Amy Winehouse album will follow the first to be released after her death, Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
After Winehouse’s death one year ago, on July 23rd, 2011, Mitch Winehouse collected some of his daughter’s written material and covers for release on Lioness; check out Pitchfork’s review of the posthumous compilation here.
Following his recent book, Amy, My Daughter, Mr. Winehouse will release a second album of Amy’s work, assuring BBC 6 Music News that there are many more covers in store, possibly even enough for a third album.
