Brooklyn’s Afropunk Festival will return to Commodore Barry Park this August 25th and 26th, and will feature Erykah Badu and the Cannabinoids, TV on the Radio, Gym Class Heroes, Janelle Monae, Reggie Watts and more. Read on for an updated lineup.
The Afropunk Festival celebrates African-American music and culture, and will return for an eighth year after its cancellation last year due to possible safety risks posed by Hurricane Irene (MXDWN).
This year’s festival will also feature the winner and runner-up of the Afropunk Battle of the Bands. Check out the Top 16 bands at the Afropunk website.
